School Council
The Pupil Council are the representative voice of all our pupils and we have 2 class reps from each year group P1-P7.
The Council also has an Executive Committee, formed by P7 pupils and a vote takes place each year to elect posts.
Our Pupil Council hold a number of responsibilities.
They give insight into pupils' opinions about certain ideas and policies within the school.
They bring suggestions to the Principal about how to improve the school.
Our newly elected Head Girl and Head Boy will lead our School Council! Congratulations!
Pupil Eco-Council
We also have a School Eco-Council. They are responsible for achieving and maintaining our Eco-Schools Green Flag and they meet regularly to discuss upcoming events and issues within the school.
At present our councils are working very hard on the Sustrans Gold award, having already achieved the Bronze and Silver awards. They are completing lottery funding applications and are helping drive the school towards our third Eco-School Green Flag.
If you have any suggestions for the council, please speak to your class representative.
